Wrong answers
This is a level 3 (ONLY) app!
I bought this app to practice levels 1 and 2 but questions refer to level 3 .... I want my money back!
Has to improve
For five euros you have to fix it and improve it much more than this. Many questions dont even make sense in English. Way too focused on Germany and 800 questions.... Where? Not worth it
Needs Improvement
This app is riddled with typos like the spelling of "Tempranillo" not trempranillo. It is also full of misinformation- Dolcetto is not a grape for White Wine. For having "Over 800 Questions" it seems to lack a great deal of variety and breadth. Also, serving temperatures- a red should be stored at room temperature? Really? Whos room? How about a given temperature range to avoid confusion. I dont know too many rooms that sit at 55 degrees Fahrenheit. But THAT is what a red wine should be stored at. Try again folks. I feel I wasted $10 on these apps. Disappointed.
Its just OK
The questions are ok, but it doesnt tell you which questions you got wrong, it only tells you how many you got wrong. Not worth $5.
Useful, but flawed -- a <$1 app.
A $5 app sets certain expectations. -words to be spelled correctly -the ability to review which questions are answered incorrectly: in practice mode, you can see via a green highlight if you are correct. In test mode there is no indication. In either mode, you cannot go back and review your wrong answers. The only way to return to review a question is to take a screen shot of it right then, or go through the 30-question sequence again and hope that (out of 800 possible questions) its in there. This app is helpful for a randomized review of basic wine facts, 3 stars. Needs work though.
Horrible app
I just downloaded this app to study for the WSET Level 2 exam. Complete waste of $4.99. If I could get my money back I would. First, even though I downloaded the Level 1 and 2 version (verified this), Im getting level 3 questions for the Level 2 test. It even says "Level 3" in the upper left corner. I tried the Level 1 test just to see what would happen and it gave me Level 2 questions (still says Level 3). Second, the number of typos and grammatical errors is way beyond the $4.99 ticket price. Third, the ability to track your answers in the mock exam are non-existent. This app is just one step above flashcards. I should have noticed that it hasnt been updated since 2013 despite more recent comments from others. DO NOT waste your money.
