“Pocket Fabriano” is the new smartphone application that provides citizens and tourists updated informations about activities and attractions of the town of Fabriano and its territory. The app includes maps, deepening cards about the cultural heritage (historic buildings, museums, monasteries, etc..) and utilities (accommodations, transports etc...) in the municipality and in the territory, in addition to updated news on activities and events. While walking with the smartphone in your pocket, a warning system alert you when you are close to a point of interest: previously you have to activate the GPS function on your mobile. Just take the phone and open the deepening card of the reported point of interest. You can read, for example, the history of the monument or the museum, opening days and hours, address, contacts and website, as well as listen to audio files or watch deepening videos in the card. Thanks to this application, the municipality of Fabriano offers to tourists and its citizens a 360 ° view of the town and its area, providing informations and deepenings about all the typical places and the points of public interest, accommodations, restaurants, and many more helpful informations.
