It’s simple: use the Family Premiere app to send us footage and photos from a special event, and we’ll send you a professionally edited movie back.
- How much does this cost?
We charge for the material you upload: $5.00 per minute of video and $0.70 per photo, with a minimum order of $99.00.
- How long will my finished movie be?
That depends on the amount of material you send us, but usually 3 to 5 minutes. Shorter is often better!
- When will I get my finished movie?
You’ll get the first cut within 72 hours. Many customers are happy with the first cut, but you can make one round of changes if you like. If you choose to make changes, final delivery may take a few more days.
- How is this different from services that edit videos automatically?
Automated services use software to guess the content of your footage - and often the results feel a bit random. At Family Premiere, we use professional human editors who take time to watch your footage, look through your photos, and craft an emotional story from your moments.
- Can’t I just edit my footage myself? I’ve got the software to do it.
Many of us intend to edit our own footage, but find we never get around to it. The truth is, crafting a movie that tells an emotional story takes time and expertise. With Family Premiere, all you need to do is select the footage and photos you want to use - our professional editors will do the rest.
- What happens after I upload my footage & photos?
Once your upload is complete, you’ll be able to see the status of your edit on the home screen of the Family Premiere app. When the edit is ready to watch, the movie will appear on the home screen of your app.
- What if I want to change my edit?
No problem! You can make one round of changes to your edit. We;’ll send you an email when your edit is ready to watch - simply reply and let us know what you’d like to change.After the first round, further changes can be made at a cost of $30.
