Description
The first Hungarian Fashion Awards Hungary Gala was organized at the beginning of 2004 with an objective to establish a tradition in our country which is aimed at recognizing the work of the most talented professionals working in fashion.
At the gala event, the award and the statue accompanying the recognition was granted to talented artists receiving the largest number of nominations from the returned voting papers of leading fashion professionals and who were found to be the best in a given field in the past year. Hungarian dancers, actors, musicians and athletes have had similar awards for many years. The great success and positive media reception of the gala proved that the Hungarian fashion field was also ready for such a competitive challenge. Due to the favorable reception, we could organize larger scale and more prestigious award ceremonies in the springs of 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The long-term objective of Fashion Awards Hungary is to facilitate a greater recognition and fame for the winners in Hungary and abroad, in professional circles and before the general public as well, which can have an encouraging and motivating effect on the future of the whole Hungarian fashion profession.
These events represented a realization of a long-cherished dream of Fashion Awards Team, the founding members who have been working on the creation of the award gala for seven years. Motivated by the successes of the past seven years and organization works for the VIII. Fashion Awards Hungary Gala in 2011, have already been started, which is planned to take place in the Symbol Budapest, just as last year.
