The North American Fly Tackle Trade Association also honored him with the “Lifetime Contribution Award.” He was inducted into the (International Game Fishing Association) “IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame”, the “Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame”, “The Fly Fishing Hall of Fame,” and the “Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum Fishing Hall of Fame.” And was named “Angler of the Year.” by Fly Rod and Reel Magazine.
