Description
Footworksfitness (FWF) is a unique, completely original exercise system that at first glance appears to be a traditional step class. Other than the use of a step, this system has little to do with normal step aerobics. It is a combination of dance and drumming.
Developed and successfully taught for the past 20 years, this unique form of exercise puts you in charge…of your progress, your pace and your results.
This app begins with the first of the 7 FWF levels, teaching you the 8 generic step moves (The G8s) and the FWF Rudiments. The system was created with the belief that any exercise system that does not stimulate and push the mind as hard as the body will soon become boring to adherents and boredom is the main reason people lose motivation and abandon their fitness goals.
Part of the allure of FWF is that it develops the ability of the students to spontaneously execute intricate and difficult moves instantly; there are no memorized routines. The moves you see in the video examples are called out randomly by the instructor.
If you are looking for the next fitness panacea, this app is not for you.
