Hi, I just bought your calculator. Looks great but would like to have a way to round to nearest fraction like 1/2 - 1/4 - 1/8 - 1/16 - 1/32 for construction work. For example in solidworks they ask you for the denominator precision; you say 8 for 1/8 but if the nearest is 4/8 it reduces it to 1/2. Easy to use on a regular tape measure.

Description
Our calculator does mixed fractions & decimal arithmetic with support for brackets. This covers most of the work you need to do with fractions but we also record the results to a "paper tape" which you can scroll to review (with the ability to select and copy) and you also can email it to yourself so you can see and record the sum of your labours.
For example you can enter
5 3/16 + (12.11 - 1/8)*2 =
to get the answer 11663/400 which you can then show as
29 63/400, or 29.1575
Or calculate 2^151 "2 to the power of 151" to get 2854495385411919762116571938898990272765493248

Nearest fraction for tape measure would be awesome.

I have not had time to fully review this application. However, just as stated in the description -3^2 yields -9 which is Not correct. Now -2^3 should be -8. I have no confidence in this program until it is completely check-out by an impartial reviewer.
Good Service
I was a bit worried based on some of the reviews that the app wasnt up to mathematical snuff. However, it appears that (wonder of wonders) the developer actually listened to the customers and fixed the problems noted. As far as the app itself, it does exactly what it is meant to do, and quite well too. I find it especially useful to be able to email my calc tape, as it makes writing reports that much easier.

Need whole numbers for answers.
Would be nice to get a whole number answer when adding and dividing mixed numbers, I.E. 45 5/8" x 2 = 91 1/4"

Thanks for adding mixed fractions. This makes the app much more useful to me for carpentry and woodworking.
Great app, most helpful for homework
Now prints the mixed fraction as the first answer, of course you can show the improper fraction or a decimal. It seems the other calculators lack the ability to work with mixed fractions, or ask you to pay extra if you want decimals. They also sorely lack the ability to use brackets! Why would you buy another lesser product for the same fee?
