Welcome to Gas Gauge, an app which automatically calculates how much you are spending on gas as you drive by taking account of multiple factors such as the average gas prices around you, your cars mpg, and your speed. The app has a database with thousands of cars, so you can easily choose yours and start driving. It also allows you to manually input gas prices or your cars mpg, and it keeps track of how much you have spent and driven each car. With newly introduced background tracking you are now able to open the app, let it run in the background and stop by once in a while to see how much youve been spending on gas. You are also able to see an estimate of how many miles per gallon youre getting correlating to your speed. When you drive through town you also get to see what zip code you are in and how much the average price per gallon is in the area.
