GEOcamcorder LITE provides advanced geo referencing capabilities to digital videos and photos taken with your iPhone or iPad, making it a good replacement to dedicated camcorders for a fraction of the price! Compared to other video recording apps, GEOcamcorder records geographical details along the full track for the duration of the video and allows you to export it to a file in GPX format. The video and photos are saved to the photo album with a map overlay, visible during shooting, and hence accessible like any other media. You can then upload the video to Dropbox and send it along with the GPX track by Email for further processing.
GEOcamcorder LITE is free and captures videos up to 3 minutes length. The full version has no time limits and provides a gauge to track available memory.
Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
