Great maps lets you download Norwegian map packages for offline use.
Great maps provides access to detailed maps for both connected (online) and disconnected (offline) usage.
Tip: Set your phone in flight mode to save battery!
Does not require Cellular Data when map has been downloaded.
Features:
* Two base maps: Topographic and sea maps
* GPX-import from other apps
* Elevation curves, both for GPS-tracks, imported and hand drawn tracks.
* Search places and cities
* Download county packages
* Download custom defined areas (free)
* GPS tracking: Track your routes, and save for later
* Custom track: Draw tracks by hand. For example used for planning hikes/tours.
* Track-lists: List all GPS-tracks and custom tracks
* Show/hide old tracks in map
* Share your location (as map-image or text)
* 4 map rotation modes:
1) North up
2) Device orientation ("where to go")
3) Heading ("what direction am I moving")
4) Manual rotation (two finger pinch)
