The app implements a intuitive continuous scan method where scanning is not interrupted when multiple items are scanned and offer a seamless experience. Multiple items can be scanned in one go. The barcode scanner in the app helps you seamlessly scan the food items you buy and keep a record of their approximate day of expiry. The app will look for barcode scanned by user in the app barcode database and if it cannot find the barcode in the database it will ask user to provide the missing data. App will remember any missing data entered by the user so that next time user scan the same barcode app can use the data. it is smart :)
Donating food is implemented in a very simple and easy way. If your looking for food the app will show you the food donated by nearby people in a map which will help you to find the food easily.
App require user to create an account to use the app and needs network data connection (internet) to use its full functionality.
