Green Schools at App Store analyse

USAgain partners will schools in 15 states throughout the U.S. to host eco-friendly textile recycling fundraisers. The schools earn cash while diverting textiles from the landfills and teaching students about the benefits of textile recycling.

Through the app, USAgain partner school staff, PTA members, parents and students will be able to view the collection of their school compared and ranked with other schools in the area. They will see the environmental impact of their collection and how much money the school has raised. They will be able to interact with the school and USAgain on social media, posting pictures and liking activities. They will also be able to access resources to help boost collection thus creating a healthy completion to recycle more and earn more funds.

According to the U.S. EPA, a whopping 85% of all discarded textiles – 11 million tons – are sent to U.S. landfills every year.
