"Hanafuda koi-koi ver." is an application that lets you play the traditional Japanese card game "Hanafuda koi-koi".
The premise of the game is, using a deck of 48 cards, to make pairs of matching cards.
Though this seems simple, theres a lot of fun and complexity in reading your opponent, general strategizing, and mastering the game.

Rules:
A deck of Hanafuda cards has twelve suits, which each suit corresponding to a different month.
Every card belongs to one of the twelve suits, thus every suit has a total of four cards in it.

When someone gets a special score, they must decide whether to continue or end the game.
This decision is known as Koi-Koi.
Getting the third "Koi-Koi" will make your score double, getting the fourth "Koi-Koi" will make your score triple, and getting the fifth "Koi-Koi" will make your score quadruple.
Use "Koi-Koi" cunningly and have fun!

Impeccable
Endlich!
Endlich gibts das Spiel zumindest auch auf Englisch. Bisher war es nur auf Japanisch zu bekommen. Tolles Spiel, sehr nett umgesetzt. Man braucht wirklich ein bisschen Geduld, bis man verstanden hat, wies läuft. Im ersten Moment wirkt es komplizierter als es wirklich ist. Und auf der anderen Seite ist es doch so komplex, dass es lange spannend bleibt. Es ist wirklich mal was ganz anderes als was ich sonst so an Kartenspiele kenne. Schön wäre es natürlich, wenn es das auf Deutsch gäbe, aber das ist wohl eher unwahrscheinlich, zu sehr Nische. Und schön wäre, wenn man die Musik abstellen könnte und trotzdem Anmatiomssound hätte. Oder habe ich da was übersehen?

Wanted to learn the game after watching Summer Wars. This App let me do that. The English translation of the rules was confusing, but you can sort things out by playing. Fun and addictive.

The best koi koi game for iPhone/iPod
Ive downloaded several hanafuda koi-koi apps and this one is by far the best. Intuitive interface is suitable for fast and slow-paced playing styles. A little confusing for newbies, but if you keep playing youll get the hang of it.

こいこいの後のBGMがすごくいい！
絵が下手すぎる
札の判別がつかぬ程、絵が下手すぎる。また、ゲームとしてテンポが悪過ぎる。バージョンアップでの改善が待たれるレベル。115円という価格設定に免じて、星二つだが、それにしても残念な出来。
