Heroes on Tap (HOT) is a service in your local area that connects you with the very hero you need whenever you need them!
Tap into our team of heroes whether you have an emergency or suddenly have a spare day and need work quoted on or completed.
All of our Heroes are reviewed by people like you and their credentials checked by our team at head office so you have peace of mind that your hero is not a fraud in badly fitting Lycra.
I have an emergency, how does it work?
Activate your beacon to tell us you need help. We will then show you the Heroes available in your area. You can enter a live chat to describe the problem and agree a call out. Once this is done, your Hero will accept your call to action and you confirm you are happy to proceed. Your live location is then shared so you can track your Hero right to your door. No more sitting there looking out the window waiting!
I need work done, but its not an emergency.
Just because you arent in a rush for the work to be done, does not mean our Heroes are not available to help. You can book work in the future and speak to Heroes in your area at any time. This means when you have 70 minutes on lunch, you can plan ahead with ease. When a job is agreed it goes into both of your calendars automatically and reminds you of the appointment. When your Hero leaves to come to your job you will be notified and able to track them right to your door as if its an emergency.
We ask you to review our Heroes after every job, and we ask our Heroes to review you as a customer too. A cup of Tea or Coffee, and a biscuit if you have it keep our Heroes happy.

Our customers may have an emergency they ned you to help with, or may suddenly be fre for you to quote on a job. We connect you with work that is available now in your local area. Even when youre busy, our customers can send through enquiries enabling you to line up work for the future.
We allow all our customers to review you as a Hero, and you get to review them back. So when you accept work, you will know if another tradesman has had a bad experience. This provides you with peace of mind that you need.
How do emergency jobs work?
When customers have an emergency, they set off a beacon and we then show them the Heroes valuable in their area. Customers then enter a live chat to describe the problem and agree a call out. Once this is done, you can accept your call to action and the customer confirms they are happy to proceed. At this point, your live locations are then shared and you get directions right to your job through your phone.
What about non-emergency work?
Customers can book work in the future and speak to Heroes in their area at any time. This enabled you to fill up your schedule with work in your local area including quotes on the way back from existing work. When a job is agreed it goes into both of your calendars automatically and reminds you of the appointment. When you leave to attend the job, click on my way and we will provide directions and notify the customer that their Hero is on their way.
