Hungry Pet helps you keep your pet at a healthy weight or if they are overweight helps you, to help them, lose weight.
Answer a few questions about your pet, enter the kCalories for your pets food and get an estimate of the right amount to feed them to maintain their current weight.
If your pet is overweight use the Ideal Weight Calculator to determine what your pet should weigh. Ideal weight is calculated using their current weight and the Body Condition Score (BCS) . Hungry Pet includes instructions for determining BCS as well as links to several websites that provide instructions and videos.
Hungry Pet uses the same formulae most veterinarians use to calculate pet food requirements and ideal weight.
Hungry Pet Features:
• Calculates daily kCalories using the Resting Energy Requirements (RER) formula
• Calculates ideal weight from BCS and current weight, uses the 1 to 9 BCS
• Includes a Dog and Cat food database, with over 1000 entries for Dog and cat food.
• Includes useful information such as
