Description
iBeam allows you to instantly "beam" (send) contact information and photos directly to another iPhone over wifi or to any other device via email. iBeam fills the need of many iPhone users by allowing them to instantly "Beam" contact information or photos directly to each other. Currently iPhone users have to type in or write down contact info and it can be frustrating. Other smart phones have had "beaming" ability for years and until now it was lacking on the iPhone.
iBeam now has 2 methods of sending contact information.
1st - Beam Contact (iPhone to iPhone over wifi.)
This will require both iPhones to have iBeam installed and both iPhones will need to be connected to the same wifi network. This will allow for direct instant transfer of contacts and photos between the 2 iPhones.
2nd - Email Contact (using vCard)
This method converts your contact information into a vCard and allows you to email it to anyone on any device with an email. It does not require you to be on the same network, nor the receiver to own an iPhone. If you do email a vCard to another iPhone, they will be able to open it and add it to their contacts.
iBeam is great for quickly sharing contact information with business professionals or a new friend.
iBeam settings allows you to turn off certain information from being "beamed". You can prevent certain types of contact information such as "Home, Work, Mobile, Photo, etc" from being sent.
More useful features are currently planned for iBeam and we welcome any feedback from the community to improve the software.

Avant de dire quune application ne marche pas il faut faut se donner un minimum la peine de vérifier quelle manipulation il faut faire. Je nai pas essayé de iphone à iphone.
Ne marche pas
Jai essayé (pour tester) de menvoyer mes coordonnées, je nai rien reçu. Entretemps jai envoyé un mail "ordinaire" depuis liPhone à la même adresse, ce mail est arrivé. Au mieux ce logiciel ne marche pas, au pire cest une faille de sécurité.
Fonctionne bien
Par contre il ne joint pas les photos des contacts.
Funktioniert
Die Darstellung ist jedoch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zudem sollte es eine Möglichkeit geben nur die gewollten Daten weiter zu geben und nicht gleich alle Nummern und Emailadressen die man gespeichert hat. Ansonsten gute Sache und auch noch kostenlos.
Funktioniert nicht!
Test von Version 1.1: + Übertragung per WLAN/WiFi + Versand per E-Mail: Absender-E-Mail-Adresse wählbar + gutes User-Interface (- Start-Screen aber sehr poppige Farben) - Daten werden sowohl per WLAN als auch per E-Mail unvollständig übertragen (1. Test-Kontakt: nur Vor-, Nachname und Firma, sonst nichts; 2. Test-Kontakt: Fax fehlt) - Keine Auswahl der zu übertragenden Kontaktdetails - keine Bearbeitung des E-Mail-Textes "Sent via iBeam application on iPhone" Fazit: Unbrauchbar (Barcode-Methode nicht getestet)
Guter Start
Design ist etwas eigen. Auch sollte ein default-Absender einstellbar sein. Auch reagiert es zuweilen schwer auf Fingertipps. Aber einem geschenkten Gaul...
