Attention, ceci ne permet pas de lire des livres! Je nai dailleurs pas encore touvé lutilité surtout que la version lite est limité à cinq livres. Je trouve que cette appli na pas suffisament dintérêt pour lâcher de largent.

iBookshelf is your personal portable library reference. A comprehensive book database, created and continuously maintained through extensive feedback from readers like you.

Books are displayed ordered by title, author, genre, and status. You can search for books in your library, and enter a "loan status" to remember who you loaned the book to or borrowed it from. A new book can be entered automatically (enter ISBN and remaining data is loaded from the internet) or manually. If you load the data from the internet, the book cover image is loaded as well. It will even tell you where you can buy the book and how much it costs!
This free version is ad-supported and is 100% full-featured. You may remove all ads via the in-app purchase in the Utilities tab.

- Scan barcodes directly into the app using the built-in and ready-to-use iOS or Zbar scanners! Can also use Pic2Shop as a separate app!
- Enter the title and/or author and tap load (next to the title field) to look up the ISBN and load remaining data from the internet
- Save all your books in a convenient library
- See your book covers on your iPod/iPhone
- Track book loans
- Rate your books
- Find places to buy books and the price at each vendor
- Search the database by multiple space-separated keywords
- Tilt your iPod to landscape view and view your book covers in "shelf view" mode.
- Backup and restore your library to DropBox
- Email backup files (CSV or binary) to a location of your choice.

- Read/Unread status is displayed in the main lists.

Pour les Bibliovores
Idéal pour gérer sa bibliothèque, la version gratuite ne permet davoir uniquement quune vingtaine de livres en base, mais permet de se faire une bonne idée de lapplie. On peut facilement, grâce au lecteur de code barre intégré, ajouter des livres dans la base, (le programme averti lors de saisie de doublons) et ce quils soient de notre bibliothèque ou que l on souhaite les avoir (et dans ce dernier cas, il semble possible den commander (mais je n ais pas été au bout de cette procédure dachat)) Pour chaque ouvrage, on peut indiquer si on la, le désire ou si on la prêté Seuls bémols : le scan de code barre ne recherche que les ISBN. Ce qui fait que si lon désire gérer ses magazines, il faut donc saisir à la main Parfois, le scan de code barre (qui marche donc en version gratuite) a du mal à détecter celui ci
Peu efficace
Bonne idée et bonne présentation mais pratiquement inutilisable. Meme avec une bonne connection internet le chargement des titres est très très long et souvent incomplet. Il faut reprendre à la main la moitié des items. Delicious Library sur lordi est bien plus efficace mais nexiste malheureusement pas sur iPhone ou iPAd. A éviter donc...
Intéressant petit bibliothécaire!
Cet app permet denregistrer rapidement, grâce au lecteur de code barre, les titres de livres quon a dans sa librairie. Les recherches avec les codes ISBN permettent de retrouver pratiquement tous les livres, français et étrangers. Lencodage de titres manuels donne bcp moins de résultats satisfaisants par contre. Jaime surtout le "statut" des livres - à qui ai-je prêté des livres, et de qui en ai-je empruntés? Cette version lite/demo est limitée à 20 titres.

Bei mir hat er leider kein einziges Buch gekannt, ob nun in deutscher oder englischer Ausgabe.. Für die dennoch nette Idee gibts 2 Sterne, hätte er die ISBN gefunden wär mir das jedoch deutlich lieber gewesen.
