Succinct
great app
at last a very clear and well done app on jazz impro. looking forward to the following lessons
excellent theory and practice
Like the app for the Minor ii-v progression, this is one of the best apps I have seen for jazz theory and practice. I like how the developer has isolated a useful element in jazz improv, provided clear explanations and examples, and then also provided audio examples and backing tracks. The app provides good practice advice for how to learn and implement the improv skills in the app. This is a serious jazz educational tool created by someone who is obviously a working jazz musician/educator. Highly recommended.
Great product
Terrific! Both apps are very useful tools for learning and practicing. Better than Aebersold book/CDs. Keep up the good work!
Good stuff!
I play both trumpet and piano, and this app really helps to focus in on the modes, their structures, and how they sound. Even if you come from a music education background as I have, its nice to have aural examples of modal scales at your fingertips for on-the-fly listening and comparison. Good work!
