To get started using iSteps, set up your personal profile by entering your height in cm or inches, your weight in lbs or kg, and choose how you want your results displayed, either in kcal or kJ and distance in miles or km. Then press the START button and you are ready to GO!
We recommend that you wear your iPhone or iPod touch by your waist or in your pocket, but you may need to experiment a bit to find the best location for optimal accuracy.
Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. With the option to turn off “Daily Totals Tracking”, you can save battery when needed

Simple mais complet et précis
Worthless
It says it tracks in the background but it didnt. I was reading on iBooks and when I went back to see how far I walked, it hadnt track anything. Deleting immediately. Dont bother.
Not good
I went on a treadmill at my gym walked 2.9 miles and this app said I walked 0.15!! Of a mile. I want a refund . Very inaccurate. . Waste of $$.
Not Accurate
At first I thought this was a great app but after going on a hike with my son while he was using his step tracker app, I realized mine wasnt calculating the steps correctly. My Steps app calculated about one third of what his did. Now I wonder how far off all my other walks of been.

No summarising weekly graphics to keep u encouraged
Lousy app
I obviously should have read the reviews before purchasing this app! On my first walk (1 mile) it tracked 120 steps (0.03 miles)! Doesnt even deserve the 1star I had to give it!... Developer, please look into this and find a way to fix it! I dislike throwing good money out on cheap promises. Please update this app!
