Description
Keynality Jr is a marriage of music theory and an instrument designed for composers, performers and producers to assist with making music with unfamiliar or unusual keys. It provides a musical palette for creating chord progressions, working out harmonies or melodies using the inbuilt synth and sampler.
The Junior edition is an introduction to Keynality with reduced keys, chords and feature set.
It has support for 43 keys based on 3 heptatonic (7 note) scales. These are Ionian (Major), Aeolian (Minor), Melodic Minor (Asc). It can then map a selection of Major, Minor, Dominant, Diminished, Augmented, Suspended chords into a matrix for playing on an interface that is velocity sensitive.
Other Features are:
• presets can be exported via iCloud.
• a key finder to help match the key to an existing piece of music.
• choice of sound sources: Oscillators, Dirty Synth and Piano/Organ samples
• playing interface is optimised for the different sized iPads (7.9", 9.7", 10.5" & 12.9")
• no ads, no nag screens, no time limits.
