動画によるレッスン(復習問題付き)、チェックメイト等の問題、そしてCPU相手の対局の３部構成となっています。 ２０章の各ビデオ・レッスンは盤の説明から始まり、各駒の動き、チェックメイト、オープニング、ミドルゲーム等の基本を丁寧に(しかもMaurice Ashley の肉声で!!)説明してくれます。 動画で説明される駒の動きはMaurice Ashley の説明と実にうまくタイミングが合っていて、とても分かりやすく、英語が苦手な方でも取っ付きやすいのではないかと思います。(チェスだけでなく、英語のリスニングの勉強にもなりますね。) 要望があるとすれば、各種問題で正解・不正解のどちらでもダイアローグがすぐに表示され盤を隠してしまうので、自分の駒の動きの再確認がしにくいところでしょうか。 対局については別のチェス・アプリでやっているので未評価とさせていただきます。 私のような最低限の動きしか知らなかったような初心者には、おすすめのチェス・トレーニング・アプリだと思います。
