I bought this app thinking there would be some flashcard mode to test what you learn, but all you can do is watch a demo of the stroke order then do it yourself. It offers no feedback to help improve and has no testing modes, so you dont really learn anything! You can get the same information just be searching Mandarin Phonetic Stroke Order in google. This app in no way helps you to learn the phonetic characters....

This app does not help you learn mandarin phonetic...waste of money
Great for kids learning bopomofo
I have a hard time teaching my son to write the zhuyin symbols and this app is exactly what Im looking for! He wont stop playing this app :)
So what this app should say
This app does not teach you how to write any real Chinese words. It teaches you a sort of Chinese alphabet that helps you pronounce words, not write them. Its most often used to teach people who already know how to speak Chinese how to read. Can be useful but definitely not for everyone.
