With MEC Shot App training sessions and competitions can be recorded on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The shots are visualized as shot pattern with permanent evaluation of the shot pattern center while recording. Results are calculated in real time including decimal counting and inner tenth. Shot durations can be recorded, too. Due to the visualization of the shot pattern center within the target view, necessary sight adjustments will become more obvious.
The use of MEC Shot App is easy and intuitive after only a short amount of time. Besides shot locations the software allows to quickly record wind directions, interim times and many other shot properties. With this data the coach and athlete recognize immediately if the tactic has to be changed.
After finishing the recording of one session MEC Shot App automatically generates a statistic, which clearly displays all information. The strength and weaknesses of each series become clear. MEC Shot App provides a perfect instrument for evaluating the performance and finding conclusions for the next shooting session.
The app can also compile a clearly arranged PDF-file from the recorded data that can be distributed to friends and other athletes via email. Of course the PDF-file can be printed. If you store the printouts in the right manner you will get a shooting diary that of course includes the date and location.

Gut Ding braucht Weile...
Lange durften wir warten. Hat sich aber gelohnt. Auf den ersten Blick gut strukturiert. Vor allem finde ich gut, dass man mehrere SchützenInnen verwalten kann. Leider fehlt noch die native Unterstützung der iPad-Auflösung! Schön wäre noch die Datenübergabe zwischen iPhone und iPad. hab ich auf die Schnelle nichts gefunden. Aber man braucht ja noch ein paar Features zur Weiterentwicklung. Für den "ersten Schuss" echt Super.

Alle Achtung super Tool was fehlt ist noch der direkte Austausch der Daten zwischen Iphone und Ipad ansonsten genau das was man braucht zur Optimierung seiner Leistung.

habe nach der ersten Ankündigung lange darauf gewartet. Es hat sich gelohnt. Die Datenbank ist genau das, was ein Trainer benötigt. Ich hoffe,(gehe davon aus) die Entwicklung geht so weiter wie der erste Aufschlag
Gelungen
Ich habe die App heute bei einem Liga Wettkampf live ausprobiert. Die Bedienung ist einfach und genial. Die Ergebnisse liefern eine super Grundlage um nach einem Wettkampf mit einem Schützen sein Ergebnis zu besprechen. Ich hoffe noch auf neue geniale Erweiterungen. Einziges Manko ist der Preis - deswegen ein Stern weniger!
