This application was made to assist Queensland health practitioners to diagnose the condition to facilitate access to the metabolic unit at Ashmore clinic. Metabolic measures mmol/l which is the world standard for measuring glucose in blood, SI (Systeme International) units, . With Metabolic you can measure for ATSI (Australian Aboriginal and Torres Straits Islanders), Asian (use same measurements as ATSi) and Caucasians so anybody can use this application and get a accurate result in a standard they can use with their medical practitioner . Metabolic is a easy to use Application After first launch just go to the settings page chose which measurements you require then simply enter your details to get a quick and accurate result even if you are on medication.
So if you are in the high risk factor group for any of the disorders that make up Metabolic Syndrome you are now able to monitor your risk while working with your medical practitioner to lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
