Description
Racing returns to Meydan for the 2014- 2015 season with a total of 19 meetings scheduled from November 6, 2014 through to the closing programme, the spectacular 20th Dubai World Cup on March 28, 2015. The season is split into three parts: Racing at Meydan, the Dubai World Cup Carnival and the Dubai World Cup race meeting.
This season we celebrate the 20th running of the Dubai World Cup which is recognised as the “world’s richest day in racing” with a total prize money of US$ 30 million for the showcase of nine races. The Dubai World Cup raceday features three of the most valuable contests in the world of racing: the US$ 6 million Dubai Sheema Classic, presented by Longines, the US$ 6 million Dubai Turf, sponsored by DP World and the famed US$ 10 million Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airline.
