The mindsoft™ App is designed and developed to inspire and guide people to explore mindfulness for better health. The App is used accompanying with a necksoft™ posture training headset and a lumbsoft™ posture training belt.
Research on mindfulness has been expanding rapidly. Mindfulness can make people resilient under stress and undercut addiction. Key insights of the mindsoft™ App are to help people bring mindfulness by concentrating their posture in neutral and stressless positions.
The integration of the mindsoft™ App, the necksoft™ posture training headset and the lumbsoft™ posture training belt realizes the real-time monitoring and biofeedback techniques, including (1) detecting head and lumbar-spine craning forward or hanging downward, and (2) using biofeedback mechanisms of vibration and sounds to set alert and warning when in poor sitting postures.
The App provides real-time posture indicators. The App uses vibrations and sounds to set alert when in poor posture for a period of time. The App also provides the analytics of Mindfulness (%), Wearing Time (min), and Response Time (min), in time scales of day, week, month, and year.
Intended Use
The intended use of mindsoft™ is to monitor and detect head/neck and lower back postures and provide biofeedback mechanism to help explore mindfulness by maintaining good postures for lifestyle or wellness applications.
