World Card Mobile erkennt mit toller Zuverlaessigkeit englischen Text. Dass die App auch noch Chinesisch erkennt (und zwar klassisch und vereinfacht) stoert natuerlich nicht. Uebrigens auch Chinesisch funktioniert gut (nicht so perfekt wie Englisch, aber gut). Genug Licht ist notwendig, wenn man eine Visitenkarte fotografiert, ab da laeuft alles glatt. Die neue Version hat zwei Wahltasten (uebrigens alle Beschriftungen in Englisch), eine nimmt sofort ein Foto auf, die zweite wartet, bis das Bild nicht mehr wackelt. Nach dem Erkennen werden die Kontaktdatenfelder automatisch gefuellt. Tippt man auf ein Feld, dann sieht man zusaetzlich in einem kleinen Fenster den Ausschnitt des Fotos, der dem gewaehlten Feld entspricht. Die Kontaktdaten landen problemlos in "Kontakte". Reisenvorteil dieser App: Keine Internetverbindung noetig. Hohe Treffsicherheit. Ich finde, WorldCard ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Recognition doesnt work very well.
Its a bit disappointed with this app! I have the PC version, the accuracy was pretty good. However, this not happen on iPhone version. Most of the scan always get something wrong and I have to re-enter it. If thats the case, I prefer to enter it by myself at the very beginning, and save $20 for ice-cream. Im talking about the English recognition. Regarding to Chinese recognition, even worse. I think this app need to make a big improvement in short to maintain a good reputation.

Brought the English Version of the WordCard Mobile and WorldCard Contact. Love the apps and thought than scanning Chinese is even more productive for me. Got this Chinese version and it works as great as the others. Great App. Highly Recommended !!!

本当に認識率高い！
今まで、でかいスキャナーでパソコンに取り込んでたのは何だったんだ、と驚かされました。試みに二十枚ほど名刺を読んでみたところ、レイアウトやサイズがバラバラでも、活字であればかなりの高確率で、正しい漢字を拾ってくれます。発音の分からない文字もスイスイ読み取ってくれるので、爽快感はある意味日本語以上かも。 繁体字・簡体字のいずれにも対応とのこと（私自身は簡体字未確認）。 日本語版と同じく3GS限定なので注意が必要ですが、環境が合うならオススメです。 ちなみに、初回起動時には読み取りが「英語」に設定されていますので、認識画面で読み取り言語を変更するのを忘れずに。私みたいなうっかり者は「なんだ、数字しかよまないぞ」と早とちりしますので。

読み込みの間違いはシバシバ有りますが、許せる範囲内です。但し、入力時に振り仮名(拼音）も一緒に入れられるともっと便利なのです〜が。
