Aplikacja mobilna Granica umożliwia podróżnym korzystającym z urządzeń mobilnych dostęp do aktualnej sytuacji na polskich, drogowych przejściach granicznych w zakresie m.in. długości kolejki, średniego czasu oczekiwania na odprawę, prognozy zmiany tego czasu w najbliższych godzinach, komunikatów dotyczących przejść granicznych (dostosowanych do aktualnej pozycji GPS użytkownika) oraz innych istotnych informacji np. odniesienia do obrazów z publicznie dostępnych kamer monitoringu oraz pogody). Użytkownik oczekując na przekroczenie granicy będzie miał wyliczony indywidualny czas, który pozostał do wjazdu na teren przejścia zarówno w kierunku wywozowym, jak i przywozowym do Polski. Aplikacja pozwala również użytkownikom śledzenie ruchu na przejściach granicznych poprzez swój Apple Watch.

The mobile application will allow travelers using mobile devices access to information on current situation at Polish border crossings in such areas as queue length, average waiting time for customs clearance, waiting time forecasts and changes in the coming hours, messages related to border crossings (adapted to the current GPS position) and other relevant information eg. access to publicly available images from surveillance cameras). User waiting to cross the border will have calculated individual time left to enter border crossing area in both directions.The application also allows users to track traffic at border crossings by your Apple Watch.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
