Hält nicht was es verspricht
Eine Batchverarbeitung (Stapelkonvertierung) hat bei mir nicht ansatzweise funktioniert. An meinen Dateien kann es nicht gelegen haben, Handbrake hat alle Filme einwandfrei konvertiert. Das Verbinden von Filmen funktionierte ebensowenig. In allen Fällen wurden Fehler angezeigt. Der Support antwortet tatsächlich (auf Englisch per Google-Übersetzung), kann aber die Probleme nicht lösen, da die (deutsche) Frage nicht oder nur zum Teil verstanden wird. Es ist aber an den Antworten erkennbar, dass es sich um einen bekannten Bug handelt. Ich wurde gefragt, ob ich bereits versucht hätte die Titel einzeln umzuwandeln. Selbst wenn das funktionieren sollte, ein Verbinden mehrerer Filme wäre dann eh nicht möglich. Ich habe keine Lust meine Fragen so oft umzuformulieren bis es beim Support jemand versteht. Fazit: Bananensoftware, nicht kaufen!

Funktioniert nur manchmal, dann auch nur mit Trick
Bei mir scheint die Convertierung anscheinend (OSx10.6.8), aber sie wird nicht abgeschlossen. Manchmal, wenn ich zwei Videos gleichzeitig konvertiere, wird eins davon vielleicht gespeichert. Die freie Version des Converters läuft, aber sie konvertiert leider nur den halben Film. Auf der Supportseite von Movavi landet man nach Mail-Eingabe bei folgender Meldung: "Creating default object from empty value" - Na Super! Ich würde gerne mein Geld zurück haben.

Ein nettes App
Ein nettes App, ganz gut für einfache Konvertierungsaufgaben. Wie angegeben, lässt viele übliche Videoformate ins mp4 umwandeln und hat viele bequeme Voreinstellungen für Smartphones drin. Empfehlenswert für alle, die mehrere Apple-Mobligeräte nutzen.
