A Wellington lawnmowing contarctor named Tom Trapp at the time was a independent lawnmowing contractor with one lawnmowing round. He came home after a hard days work covered in grass and his wife advised him he looked like Mr Green.
Mr Green was created from that off the cuff comment.
For almost two decades, Mr Green has been a leader in home and commercial cleaning, and garden and lawn care in New Zealand.
Owned by Julian Smith of Christchurch, Mr Green is one of New Zealands leading home and commercial service providers with 204 franchises and 28 regional owners around the country.
Our franchisees work independently, allowing them to be their own boss and take control of their lives, they are allowed to obtain their own work, in addition to the work supplied by the franchise group. Our franchisees are carefully selected, we look for people with a strong track record of self motivation, great people and communication skills, they must be able to pass a comprehensive security check, and prior to starting out on their own complete a comprehensive training programme.
