Description
App Description: Provides emergency services personnel with acknowledgement and notification connectivity to the MTEL Communications Emergency Services Gateway.
In Version 2.0 the APP will use notification technology to supplement existing emergency turnout infrastructure. The user will be able to open the APP from the notification and receive specific information related to the emergency. The APP can receive updates from the MTEL Gateway specific to the emergency. Positional information of the user can also be utilized to determine distance the user is from the emergency services station.
In Version 2.5 the APP has been improved in the connection to the server. The additional Yes/No screen has been improved. Additional colours have been added to different texts types in the log. The audio from the notification will cease on opening the APP. The log display has been widened to the width of the screen. The Delete All button has been moved. The log length has a limit of 50 entries. GPS resolution is changed to improve battery life. Communications to the servers has been improved.
