Do you have maps that you would like to use offline on your iPhone/iPad with GPS positioning? Maps can be also calibrated entirely within Multiplans by defining graphically calibration points on the map.
A few sample maps are provided with Multiplans: a world map, a map of Switzerland, etc. A few more maps can be downloaded free of charge from www.multiplans.net. Multiplans is compatible with almost all coordinate systems used in the world. To import your own maps into Multiplans and have accurate GPS positioning, the map needs to be calibrated (see www.multiplans.net). Maps from OpenStreetMap (for any region in the world), as well as maps from similar mapping web sites, can be imported into Multiplans very easily by using the free program mobile atlas creator.

Impressionnant
Possibilité dimporter les cartes de son choix - même IGN - moyennant quelques opérations bien expliquées sur le site. Fluidité remarquable de la consultation des cartes, meilleure que dans dautres applications qui donnent accès aux cartes IGN. La possibilité de voir son tracé est prévu dans la prochaine version. Quelques bugs à corriger.

@jjp70 et initialLED: Pensez à contactez le support technique avant daffirmer que lapplication ne fonctionne pas. Toutes les cartes qui mont été soumises ont pu être importées facilement dans Multiplans, même celles provenant de pays lointains comme la Finlande, lAustralie ou la Nouvelle-Zélande. Imaginez alors la facilité dimporter une carte de France. @initialLED: Parmi les cartes fournies en standard, celle de Suisse et les cartes openstreetmap sont géoréférencées, de même que la carte de France à léchelle 1:1mio disponible sur multiplans.net. Lapplication fonctionne très bien. De nombreux utilisateurs sont enchantés de pouvoir utiliser leurs cartes dans leur iPhone en mode hors connexion et avec localisation GPS.

Quand vous êtes perdus hors sentier sur le GR20 dans le bouillard, que vous navez pas de point de repère visuel, la boussolle vous sert pas à grand chose, ni la carte IGN. Si javais eu cette appli, je me serai économisé bien des sueurs froides ! (ok javais pas diphone à lépoque...) Le géoréférencement marche bien, on est juste limité par la précision du GPS de liphone. Mes prochaines randos, je les prépare avec cette appli ! Bon ça demande un peu de temps pour préparer des cartes à assembler mais quand on voit le résultat, on regrette vraiment pas le temps passé ! A tout seigneur tout honneur :le développeur est très très réactif si vous tatonnez au début, et à lécoute des suggestions. Fin des compliments (largement mérités).

Cest vraiment lapplication idéale pour gérer ses cartes perso et ne pas être dépendant dabonnements divers et variés ou autres "services" . Limportation marche très bien! La précision est très bonne! Le site de léditeur est très bien documenté et le support est très réactif et compétent....ah! si cétait comme çà chez tous les fournisseurs....!!! Encore bravo Mr Ballenegger!
Ergonomie à revoir, développement à poursuivre.
Mon avis négatif à été supprimé... Bizare! Pas grave, je le remet! Jai enfin réussi à importer une de mes carte avec un fichier ref.txt correct. Ca à été très fastidieux mais, au bout de pluseurs heures de tatonnement, ça fonctionne. Lergonomie de lappli (ainsi la doc en ligne) demande à être revue. Pourquoi ne pas prendre en charge les fichiers de géolocaliseation standards? Le prix de 1,59 euros est abusé pour une appli non finalisée.
