The NHM Reader app for the iPhone and iPad enables users to read books in English and Tamizh, one of the major Indian languages, in a simple and easy to use interface. You can read all the books that you have already purchased from New Horizon Media through the NHM Shop.
The main features of NHM Reader include:
- Access to a range of free books in Tamizh and English
- Separate screens for all your purchased books available on the Cloud and on your iOS device.
- Option for searching through the books in your Library.
- Downloading and reading all books you have purchased.
- Option to select the font size, screen background and brightness for optimal reading experience
- Turning pages back and forth with animation by flicking or tapping on either side of the screen
- Ability to organise ones library into user-defined shelves for convenience
- Setting bookmarks within books
- Option of adding upto 6 devices to every user account
- Synching last page read and bookmarks across multiple devices linked to the users account
- Ability to delete books from the device at any time and re-download them later at any time
