North Yorkshire Community Messaging (NYCM) allows citizens to sign up and receive accurate and up-to-date information, crime prevention advice and notifications from North Yorkshire police officers and other key partners. The NYCM app provides a ready and easy way to receive updates from these sources on your mobile device, both tailored to your NYCM registered profile and also based on your current location.
NYCM also gives you full control on what data you choose to share, and allows location based alerts without registering a full NYCM profile.
CONNECT NYCM PROFILE
- You can connect your NYCM web profile to your app, allowing you to receive notifications on the go, based on your profile choices and addresses of interest.
- You can receive rich media notifications including photographs from various North Yorkshire Community Messaging officers and partners.
- In addition to your profile, you can also choose to receive notifications on the location you are in.
NOTIFICATIONS WITHOUT NYCM PROFILE
- You can also opt-in for limited notifications for the location that you are in, where no personal information is shared with our system.
