NotiSpy watches for both NSWorkspace notifications and notifications from the NSDistributedNotificationCenter. It lists those as they happen, so you can see whats going on with your computer.

When you see a notification youre interested in, select it, and NotiSpy shows you the userInfo data about that notification. Then, a quick click of a button will copy observer code which you can paste right into your application to monitor for that particular notification within your own app.
