Nowy Connect automatically creates a digital name tag for you based on your LinkedIn profile, shares it with nearby people, and shows you their name tags and the profiles of the companies they are part of.
Its perfect for networking events, conferences, or seminars, where you use Nowy Connect to forge new professional relations.
Nowy Connect does not track your GPS coordinates to figure out who is nearby, nor do you need to check in to any place to see whos there. Instead, it uses Bluetooth Low Energy to figure what other phones are within a radius of up to 30-50 meters.
Nowy Connect helps you solve the following pains when youre at an event:
- Let people know you and your organization are present at the event and ready to establish new contacts.
- Find an interesting person to talk to. Nowy Connect shows you the LinkedIn profile of nearby people: their name, photo, position, and the company they work for. If an event supports Nowy Connect, youll also see their answers to event-specific questions, for example, what is their goal for attending that event.
- Find a representative of a company youre interested in collaborating with. Currently, to do this, youd have to look at peoples nametags. This is silly, weird, embarrassing, and error prone. Nowy Connect shows you an organizations LinkedIn profile: what they do, in which industry sector they are, how big is the organization, their website, and who their representatives are.
- Schedule a meeting with a person / organization representative youre interested in. Nowy Connect makes it straighforward: you just have to specify who youd like to meet and why.
- Smart meeting notes. Nowy Connect enables you to add notes to any nametags, so its easy to remember interesting discussion points or followup actions. And, when you next meet that person, Nowy Connect will automatically pop up the note, making it easy for you to remember the context in which you met that person and what you talked about.
