Description
This simple app provides an easy way to search an Oil Well Pipe (Drilling, Casing & Tubing) features like: Burst, Collapse, Yield Strength, Capacity, Thickness, Inside Diameter & Transversal Area.
In the first menu is possible to select the requested pipe (Casing, Tubing or Drilling) that take us to select the Outside Diameter following for the respective available weights for the selected pipe. Once selected the weight will show us the properties related to the selected pipe.
Such properties can be evaluated selecting their Respective Grade as well as worn condition that can be: New, Premium and CX.
To calculate their properties according to the worn condition for the selected pipe was taken like this: New – 87.5%, Premium – 80% and CX – (80% - 60%).
When selected the CX worn condition a slider became available to select the worn.
The worn condition can only be used when Tubing and Drilling Pipes are selected.
Other feature added is that you can choose an individual unit system for each one properties like Burst & Collapse (psi, kgf/cm2, kPa), Torque & Torsion (lbf-ft, N-m), Yield Strength (lbf, kgf, N), Capacity & Displacement (bls/1000ft, galUS/ft, galUK/ft, ft3/ft, L/ft, L/m, m3/m), Thickness, Inside Diameter & Drift (in, mm, cm) and Transversal Area (in2, cm2). To choose the desire units just Tap the row of the property that you want to change.
To see the inverse capacity slide to le left the row and will show the inverse with the selected unit.

Good app to have
Great app . Needs to have 1 1/2 N U E tubing specs and it would be awesome .
Torques
I like this app, but you might consider adding the minimum, optimal & maximum torque recommendations as an update.
Decent
Needs units for bbs/3ft under capacity and displacement. Needs function to change to X-hole (XO) pipe threads. Needs Buttress thread connection specs. Needs minimum, optimum and maximum torque specs. Nice app but could use more data. Ultra flush data? Hopefully they will include more data like this so we can use it in the field.
Need improvments
Good idea and great job ,useful in field work ,but required to add between casing and open hole capacities , between 2 casing capacities ,please add , if u do so that mean i never go back to drilling data hand book again in casing jobs
Inaccurate info
The drift diameters on several of the casing sizes is incorrect. Example 9 5/8 36# API drift 8.765 the app shows it as 8.796. There are errors like this on several sizes throughout the app. Can be a serious problem if using this app for calculations and bit sizing.
