Description
Birth of Modern Timekeeping, dedicated to the people of London, is a tribute to not only the London 1948 Olympic Games and its athletic heroes, but the technology and innovative creations that OMEGA introduced in order to capture these Olympic moments. London has served as the host for the Olympic Games three times, a world record in itself, and these Games marks 80 years since OMEGA became the Official Timekeeper. Birth of Modern Timekeeping tells the story of the rebuilding that took place during the London 1948 Olympic Games, and the advancements OMEGA brought, and will continue to bring, to this world-wide spectacle.
