Aplikacja Opole - SIP zapewnia dostęp do danych i usług przestrzennych z obszaru Miasta Opola. Jest to mobilna wersja internetowego Systemu Informacji Przestrzennej UM Opole.
Aplikacja umożliwia:
•wybór kompozycji mapowych,
•swobodne nawigowanie na mapie ( przesuwanie, powiększanie, pomniejszanie widoku),
•nawigowanie do aktualnej pozycji,
•wyszukiwanie i lokalizację obiektów poprzez adres,
•dodawanie zdefiniowanych usług WMS,
•pomiar odległości i powierzchni,
•rejestrowanie aktualnej pozycji wraz z przesłaniem adresu URL do widoku mapy za pomocą poczty elektronicznej,
•rejestrowanie trasy wraz z jej zapisem do formatu KML
Uwaga:
Używanie GPS działającego w tle może znacznie zmniejszyć żywotność baterii.
