Pedal aims to put an end to foot amputations that occur everyday around the globe. Here’s our plan:
1. According to the United States National Diabetes Advisory Board, 85% of foot amputations can be prevented through early detection. At Pedal, early detection and prevention are at the core of our mission.
2. We interviewed dozens of Podiatrists and Diabetes Specialists and have designed the most intuitive interface for conducting a diabetic foot ulcer check.
3. Health Specialists recommend patients to conduct a foot check every 3 weeks. Pedal gives you easy access to a foot check and can send your foot health report directly to your doctor.
4. Pedal is designed for convenience. After months of iteration, Pedal has created an innovative app that decreases both the time and the cost of a foot check by 90%.
