Description
Pegel.app reads current water levels and tidal predictions of selected water information systems. Currently integrated:
Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (www.bsh.de) - 6 days tide forecast for the German North Sea coast and tidal rivers
German Federal Water and Shipping Administration (Pegelonline.wsv.de) - various water values (eg water level) of inland and coastal waterways.
Dutch Ministry of Environment (live.getij.nl) - 6 days tide forecast for the Dutch North Sea coast and tidal rivers
Other services will follow.
If available, additional information is displayed, such as water and air temperature or outflow.
The Map view shows the location of most water gauges.
Current high water alarms are displayed in the Warnings view.
Selected levels can be added to the Favorites list.

Leider nichts für Wildwasserkanuten. Nicht mal die Isar ist angegeben.
Zu wenig - zu teuer
Für den Preis wird zu wenig geboten: Zu wenig Flüsse. Da werden z. B. für Bayern beim Internetangebot des bayerischen Hochwasserdienstes wesentlich mehr Infos geboten. Der Aktualisierungszyklus ist zu grob. Insgesamt kann ich das App nicht empfehlen. Schade, der Bedarf wäre da.

Erwartungen erfüllt
Ist zwar teuer, gibt aber genau die Daten von Pegelonline wieder. Die habe ich sonst immer am PC nachschauen müssen. Klasse dass ich meine Favoriten jetzt mit dem iPhone checken kann
Zu ungenau
Es ist zwar im Text beschrieben, das alle 10 Minuten ein Update erfolgt. Z.B. Pegel Andernach stündlich eine Änderung, das Programm hält aber die Zeit von morgens um 08:00 Uhr fest, obwohl wir schon 15:00 Uhr haben :-( Die Aussage muss ich zurück ziehen. Der Server des WSV war ausgefallen. Die App hat daran keine Schuld.
Einfach.
Die App macht, was sie soll. Extrem einfach, aber immerhin... Die Pegelstände und Verlaufsdiagramme werden angezeigt, Favoriten sind speicherbar. Was aus meiner Sicht (für diesen Preis) fehlt ist mindestens ein "Refresh"-Button. Ein schöneres UI wäre auch wünschenswert. Fazit: Praktikabel, aber ausbaufähig.
