Ive seen the dozens of gps apps out there, n theres no doubt that those are good. But what happens if your on an iPod or cant get a signal. It becomes useless. This is the first "rangefinder" that I have come across, so I had to give it a shot, and trust me, Ive looked for them. I love my bushnell to death but Ill tell you what, if this was around when it came time to buy it, I wouldnt have, and would have saved $400+ for the exact same item. I work at a prestigish golf course and have also caddied for 14yrs on top of that. So trust me when I say this, I know what Im talking about. All you do is take a picture of the flag, move the lines on the screen to the top n bottom of the flag, then u have your yardage!! And for this great price, this is awesome. Theres no way an app this good,will stay at this price.

First of its kind, best golfing app yet!!
Fantastic app!
This cant get any easier, well done PinRanger! I used pinranger to get a yardage (93.5) and my buddy said "hang on there is no way that is right" and broke out his laser. He got 94 using his Bushnell, then laughed and said "ok, youre right". Really really good stuff!
Easy and accurate!
This app is worth the entire iPhone! You could either buy a range finder for 400 or an iPhone with this app! Unbelievably genius. Great job. Quick and accurate. I will be showing this off to my golf buddies this weekend! Thanks again! Worth a lot more than the current price...
Easy and accurate yardage!
This app is great for any course on any hole. Even if I cant see the bottom or top of the pin, I can easily recalibrate to different parts of the pin and still get an accurate yardage. Definitely worth the money, much cheaper than other rangefinders.
Easy & Accurate
Heard about this app from a friend so I figured for the price I would give it a shot. I found that the Accuracy is truly remarkable when compared to my Bushnell. Looking back I would have paid way more for this. PinRanger has turned the iPhone into an incredibly User friendly "Range Finder"....doesnt get any more convenient than that. GENIUS!
Not impressed--disappointing app
The reviews must have been written by the developers. This app is not easy to use and extremely difficult to see. Perhaps on a cloudy day the screen would be visible but in the sun it is next to impossible. The yardage numbers are also small and hard to read. As far as accuracy, I am not sure I finally got frustrated and quit using it. Good concept but needs lots of improvement. Takes too long with too many steps even if it was visible.

I was excited to read the reviews and give this app a shot, but was very disappointed. Tried it for a few holes, couldnt read the screen, found it too time consuming, and didnt trust the results. Not useable.
