This is a great app for understanding how practical calculations were done back when America went to the Moon (1969). Moving the body, cursor and slide is by touch. The Brakes button is awesome! Adjusting the rule precisely is easy with it. The slide rule has excellent clarity on iPhone 4. Overall, Pocket Slide Rule Expert is a delight for older engineers & scientists who had to work with the real thing, as well as for anyone with nostalgia. GET THIS APP!

Ive always missed using a slide rule. This app brings back good memories. Its accurate, easy to use, especially with a built in help wiz. I like the looks, ths speed & also the brakes.
