• Setting the hotkey as you wish

The standard combination is Command= (Cmd=), but you can always change it.

The translator contains a big universal dictionary and several domain-specific dictionaries: Business, Private letters, Sport, Travel, Medicine and Computers. Départ difficile, je ne pouvais pas ouvrir le fenêtre de traduction après avoir appuyé sur les touches: cmd +. Il est nécessaire d’éteindre l’ordinateur (pour moi, j’ai attendu 1 nuit). Le lendemain TOUT MARCHAIT À LA PERFECTION. MAIS, je complète pour la nouvelle version: BEAUCOUP PLUS PRATIQUE: une fenêtre s’ouvre et la vision des traductions est très améliorée: possibilité de copier/coller. Si j’ai retiré 1 étoile: il y a parfois une confusion des genres: en français le genre neutre se confond avec le genre masculin: ex: «il» pour désigner un homme mais aussi «il» pour désigner un objet. Par contre en anglais, ex: «he» pour désigner un homme, «she» pour désigner une femme mais «it» pour désigner un objet. Seule restriction pour l’instant.

Anders, als es die Artikelbeschreibung vermuten lässt, ist dieser Übersetzer NICHT in der Lage ganze Sätze, oder gar ganze Texte sinngemäß zu übersetzen. Sätze mit Kommata oder wortgewanter Artikulation werden unbrauchbar übersetzt. Lediglich Sätze mit einfachem Aufbau sind brauchbar. Dafür ist die Software aber deutlich zu teuer.

appears only in Cyrillic (russian), it’s impossible change the language of the application, no menus or settings, hard to use (probably because it is in Cyrillic..or is faulty), hopefully in a revision... in this moment is a waste of money and is also too expensive….

I downloaded this software from the Apple Mac store. It works with text in browsers but it does not work with Microsoft 2011, although it claims to do so. (I have a Macbook Pro retina, late 2013, running Yosemite 10.10.2, so no question of incompatibility). I have checked to see there is no conflict with shortcut keys, and there isn’t. At 37,00 euros it was a considerable disappointment. What I DID just discover is that the program works exactly as it says it should with TextEdit (built-in Mac simple text software): I type any word, press the shortcut keys and the translation appears immediately. Would the developers please look into this anomaly and make it work with Microsoft Word as well? Thank you.
