Description
Quads AR is an innovative fun way to exercise your leg muscles, particularly the quadriceps using Augmented Reality. Hence the name Quads AR!
It uses a specially designed marker card placed on your sock on the top of your foot . This card is purchased separately by clicking the button on the home screen and going to Amazon. The card is tracked using clever software by the camera of your mobile device and is used to catch or move the figure of Humpty on the screen.
The activity of catching/moving Humpty is engaging. The player gets rewards and is asked to take a rest when reaching a certain level. Over a period of time that varies from person to person, the player gets better. He/she can tracker his/her improvement with an automatic activity logger. This activity can be emailed to anyone as a .csv file.
HOLDING HUMPTY STEADY
(1)The default level is to start with Humpty moving on only half of the screen. This makes it easier to hold him steady. The longer you hold him steady, the more rewards you get.
(2) In the next level you can have Humpty move only on the half of the screen opposite to the foot youre moving. This exercises another group of muscles.
(3) Finally, you can have Humpty move all over the screen and you have to catch and hold him steady.
BOUNCING HUMPTY ON THE TRAMPOLINE
This is less easy.
The idea is to bounce Humpty off the trampoline. The more bounces you do the more points you get.
As above, Humpty can be restricted to either half of the screen or move all over the screen.
