Description
Planet Bildung creates child-friendly educational software for iPads and other tablet computers that have a touch-screen operation. The app Math for kids is part of a series of educational games for children and introduces addition and subtraction with the numbers 1 to 10. To realize a child-friendly learning environment, many graphical elements such as navigation buttons, characters, numbers, and various symbols were modelled in clay by hand. The app includes a total of 7 games (no in-app purchases required):
1) Distribute sets
2) Add sets
3) Calculate with sets
4) Calculate with sets and numbers
5) Add numbers
6) Subtract numbers
7) Complete math problems
The background music can be switched on or off in the lower left corner. Even if the music is turned off, action sounds stay on and the numbers are said in the languages German, English, French, Spanish or Japanese. The language settings are to be found in the general settings menu.
The game duration can also be restricted by parents in the general settings menu.
