Travel smart throughout the county of Stockholm
Journey Planner helps you to travel smart door to door in Stockholm County, whether its your daily trips or single trips you are planning. Travel options are presented both in map and in text form. Journey Planner leads you also to the park and ride places when they are available.
You get answers to these questions:
- How long time does a trip take?
- How can I combine different kinds of transport?
- ….
Your travels are calculated for all kinds of transport in Stockholm County, ie
- Subway;
- Bus,
- Local railways (Roslagsbanan, Saltsjöbanan)
- Tram
- Vaxholmsbåt
- Car
- Cycling
- Walking
Travel time.
The data to calculate the public journey is taken from SLs scheduled basis. Driving time is estimated from measured actual travel times and estimates of cues from the known bottlenecks. Travel times for walking and cycling is calculated from a simple model for how fast you walk and bike.
The Journey Planner (run by Trafiken.nu Stockholm) is a collaboration between the City of Stockholm, SL and Trafikverket, Stockholm Region (Traffic Administration).
