Trouble recognizing mic

I bought roadcast to do location recording on my iPhone 4. It worked great until I upgraded to iPhone 6. Now roadcast cant communicate with the internal or im2 tascam mic. I wonder if it is compatible with iPhone 6. Its hard to get through to the developer for support. I bought apples AV 30 pin to lightning connector for $39 to adapt to the mic. Frustrating.
