Run The City is the app that gives you the best kind of city tour: a running one. Choose from city highlights or peaceful green routes, download the route to your phone, then lace up and go run the city!
-Discover a new city on your run
-No need for maps – stash your phone in your pocket and follow audio directions through your headphones
-Follow local routes and learn about the city
-Run past city highlights, or relax in green parks
-Run The City exports to Strava or Runkeeper, so you can still log those training miles
How does it work?
-Download the app, and then select the city you are going to run
-Select your route, which will download on to your smartphone (no huge roaming charges!)
-Plug in your headphones, lace up your runners, loosen up those airplane-legs, and go Run The City!
-Tell your friends back home all about your international fitness regime using #RunTheCity
Run The City was created by some runners based in Edinburgh, with the aid of EdinburghApps. Were adding new cities to our app all the time, so if you think we should run your city next, please get in touch!
