Improve and check your fitness with the super-flexible time trial test. The Nascent app reliably shows your current fitness, predicts your race finish times and shows fitness changes over time. And you don’t have to go to a sports laboratory or change your exercise routine!
The app gives you a set of 3 easy time trials. Go as far as you can in each trial. The app calculates your fitness speed from that: the speed at which your muscles get most oxygen and work best.
Incorporate the trials when out and about enjoying your exercise. The Nascent app is free for a lifetime – and free of advertising too!

► HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each test has 3 high intensity time trials: 3, 7 and 12 minutes. Complete within 8 days. Doing more than 1 trial per day? Firstly: you are amazing! Secondly: do 30 minutes of light-intensity exercise only between trials. Otherwise the results are not reliable. The app calculates your event completion times and your fitness based on your time trial results.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
